Study allowance

We pay a study allowance to a non-working student with a disability who is studying at a high school, a vocational training institution, or a university of higher education and who has additional expenses related to their studies due to his disability.

To whom?

We pay the study allowance to a non-working student with a disability who is in grades 10-12 of a secondary school, a vocational training institution, or a higher education institution or is included in the list of a continuing education course with full-time studies of a state institution managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs, and who has additional expenses related to studies due to a disability.

How much?

The study allowance for a non-working disabled person is intended as a monthly allowance for the period of study to enable the use of special learning tools and special communication tools, etc. The study allowance is paid according to the actual additional costs of 6.39–25.57 euros per month. Study allowance is not paid for the months of July and August.

How to receive?

To get the allowance, submit an application and documents of additional expenses related to studies due to disability (invoice, payment order) to the Social Insurance Board.
