We pay continuing education allowance for the continuing education of a working disabled person for the purpose of professional self-improvement and formal education.
The organization of formal education is regulated by the Basic Schools and Upper Secondary Schools Act, the Vocational Educational Institutions Act, the Higher Education Act, and the Private Schools Act. Continuing education is a purposeful and organized educational activity outside of formal education based on the study program.
We pay continuing education allowance to a working disabled person for partial compensation of the actual education costs incurred by them up to 613.68 euros within three calendar years starting from the first time the allowance was determined. If the disabled person themselves is not able to pay the cost of education in advance, based on the decision of the Social Insurance Board, we will pay the cost of education to the institution that provided the service to the beneficiary on the basis of an invoice.
